AusIndustry 'COMET' grant approved to assist commercialisation of NuStroke™ engine technology.

Sydney, NSW -- November 4th, 2006 -- Powell Engine Company (Aust.) signs final Grant Deed, Tier 1 'COMET' (COMmercialisation of Emerging Technology) funding from AusIndustry, an Australian Government Initiative.

Powell Engine Company has developed a range of clean internal combustion engines utilising patented combustion control technologies which solve the many problems associated with conventional 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.

'COMET' funding will allow Powell Engine Company to begin the implementation of its strategy to commercialise its range of clean NuStroke™ internal combustion engines to manufacturers who are facing increasingly stringent emission regulations through 2007, 2010 and beyond.

The NuStroke™ engine is University tested and proven to drastically reduce emissions using any available combustible fuel. The technology also increases the viability of many alternative fuels.
